When you use Fastway, our online quote and apply system we ask the standard questions we ask all customers. If you provide an answer that means we need additional information about your client, further questions will be asked so that we can better understand their personal circumstances and assess their application. It’s very important that all the questions are answered truthfully and accurately as they form the basis of your client’s insurance contract with us. If questions aren’t answered truthfully and accurately, we may not be able to pay your client's claim in the future (if they have to make one) and their policy could be cancelled.

Where an instant decision can’t be provided, the application will be looked at by one of our underwriters, who will use their training and experience to make a decision about whether we can offer your client a policy or if we need some additional information before we can do this.

What to expect
During the application process we’ll ask your client to agree that we can write to their doctor for a medical report in case it’s needed. Because it won’t always be needed please don’t assume LV= will write to their doctor to get their medical or health information. It’s yours and your client’s responsibility to provide correct and accurate information. We’ll also regularly select a sample of customers to check that they haven’t provided any false or incorrect information on their application.
