With our Lifetime Mortgage Lump Sum Lifestyle, your clients can release the equity in their home to suit their later life needs. They can also guarantee a future inheritance for their loved ones, with our Inheritance Protection option.
There are many features available, including:
- No interest repayments throughout the life of the loan – the loan and rolled-up interest is repaid when your client dies or moves into long-term care.
- Minimum age 55 – maximum age 90.
- Additional borrowing may be available (it is not guaranteed).
- Maximum lending of up to £1.5million.
- For joint mortgages, ERC free repayment within four years of first death or move into long term care.
- Interest rate linked to age and LTV.
- A ‘No Negative Equity’ guarantee.
- Fixed early repayment charges ending after eight years.
- Unlimited number of repayments with a minimum of £50 totalling up to 11% of the original advance each year, free of any early repayment charge.
- Downsize protection included for full repayment.
- The option to protect up to 99% of the equity of the property by adding Inheritance Protection.

- The interest rate is fixed for the life of the loan. Please remember that the loan plus interest can add up very quickly.
- Further cash advances will depend on our lending criteria at the time.
- It's important that your client speaks with their family before taking out an Equity Release product, particularly any beneficiaries in their Will.
- This is a lifetime mortgage. To understand the features and risks ask for a personalised illustration.
- Inheritance Protection can be reduced or increased in the future if needed, but can’t be added to your client's mortgage after it’s completed.
Our application process
Please note an illustration is valid for 10 business days to allow for the application to be fully submitted. To make sure the rate applied for is protected, the offer will then need to be issued within 30 calendar days of the application submission date.
The offer will be withdrawn by LV= if not completed within 90 days of the offer date.
In the event of either the 30 or 90 day timescale being exceeded, we will refer the applicant back to their adviser. Their chosen product may no longer be available meaning a new product may need to be selected from the range available at that time.
