Full and budget Income Protection

LV= Income Protection provides comprehensive cover for those clients in lower risk occupations and their families with tailored options for doctors, surgeons, dentists, teachers and renters.

Our cover is comprehensive and includes a number of special features at no extra cost, including parent and child cover, death benefit, rehab support services, fracture cover, £1,500 benefit guarantee and sick pay guarantees.

We also offer budget options with shorter claim periods – either 12 months (with guaranteed premiums), or 24 months (with guaranteed or reviewable premiums). These more affordable options include all the same features and support.

Full and budget Personal Sick Pay

Personal Sick Pay is our age-costed option aimed specifically at clients in riskier jobs – like tradespeople, nurses and electricians who can be more expensive to insure, and need tailored cover.

It includes a number of different features for your clients and offers shorter waiting periods including day one and one week, making it ideal for those who don’t have sick pay in place and need cover to start paying out sooner.

We also offer a more affordable, budget option with a shorter claim period of 24 months (with guaranteed or reviewable premiums). This option includes all the same features and support.

Executive Income Protection

Rehab support services

Our rehab support services can provide services such as physiotherapy, psychological support and return to work services. This additional support can prevent your client from needing to take prolonged periods of time off work – helping to improve wellbeing and morale. Our rehab support services might be capped at a certain value, and this is dependent on the product chosen.

LV= Doctor Services

We’re here for your clients when they need us most. Your clients and their spouse/partner* have access to 6 expert medical advice services – all accessible in a handy app or by phone, wherever they are:

  • Remote GP 24/7. Unlimited consultations with a UK doctor available by phone or video.
  • Prescription services. Get a private prescription without the need for your client to visit their local GP.
  • Second opinion. Check a diagnosis and get advice on treatment options with a UK medical specialist by video or face to face consultation.
  • Remote physiotherapy. Up to five free sessions** with a trained UK physiotherapist and receive a bespoke treatment plan through video consultations. 
  • Remote psychological support. Up to five free sessions** of mental health support including counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from a network of highly trained therapists. 
  • Discounted health MOTs. Benefit from 25% off health MOTs - a service that provides an assessment of overall health, identifying any risk and areas of improvement.

*Spouse, civil partner or person with whom the policyholder lives with as a partner and at the same address.
**The five sessions limit is split between the policyholder/life assured and partner/spouse.
