What are the investment options within the LV= SIPP?

We’re proud to offer a range of investment options to suit client needs within the LV= SIPP, including our Smoothed Managed Fund range, which allows you to manage the volatility your client experiences on their investment journey.

Please note: Our SIPP includes many stock market-related investments, so your client may get back less than they put in. Before accessing other investment options, at least £3,000 of your client’s investment must be in our core funds. The exception to this is if your client invests at least £5,000 into our LV= Smoothed Pension.

SIPP wrapper charges as low as 0.15%

Our standard Core options LV= SIPP wrapper charge starts from 0.20%. Download our SIPP charges guide to see how our charges apply across our fund options.

What are the drawdown options within the LV= SIPP?

We have a range of award winning drawdown options available for a seamless transition into taking retirement income.

Through the LV= SIPP, your client can access:

  • Flexi-access drawdown, allowing variable income to be taken each year – with no upper or lower limits.
  • Phased drawdown, offering greater income flexibility by only crystallising funds as required and minimizing exposure to tax on death.

Please remember if your client chooses to take income directly from their pension fund (known as drawdown pension), any withdrawals will reduce the potential for future growth. If they withdraw more in income than the continuing growth achieved in their plan, the plan value will fall, which means that they may not be able to maintain the level of income they need. If you don’t regularly review the level of income that they are drawing out of the plan, there is a risk that their fund will run out.
