Choosing your client's cover

It’s important for your clients to have cover that works for them, and looks after what matters most. We offer a range of options for you to build your client’s Life and Critical Illness policy according to their needs. Please note that all our Life and Critical Illness policies come with guaranteed premiums. This means that the premiums are fixed and won't change unless they choose inflation-linked cover. Here are the cover options available:

With level cover, the amount of cover is fixed at the start of the policy and won’t change. Your client’s premium will also stay the same.

Inflation-linked cover

With inflation-linked cover, the cover amount increases each year – in-line with inflation. The premium increases with inflation, multiplied by 1.5. We use the Retail Price Index (RPI).

Decreasing cover

Decreasing cover is specifically designed to cover the reducing amount owed on a capital or interest repayment mortgage. Your client’s cover will go down each month.

Children’s Critical Illness cover

We provide the option for your client to add Enhanced Children’s Cover at an additional cost if they take out Life and Critical Illness cover.

For your clients that opt for Life and Enhanced Critical Illness, a standard level of Children’s Cover is included at no additional cost. If your client would like more comprehensive cover for your children they can increase this cover to Enhanced Children’s Cover.
