Medical Consent
We’ve upgraded Fastway so you’re now able to capture your client’s medical consent online. Simply read the consent information on screen, check to see if they want to see the report and confirm consent has been obtained
If your client doesn’t want to do give consent verbally or online, they can complete the Flexible Protection Plan Personal Cover Application Form instead. If your client doesn’t give their consent, we can’t proceed with their application.
Exclusion Review Periods
We have no standard exclusions. If your client’s circumstances mean we aren't able to pay a claim for a specific condition or as a result of a specific illness, injury, or event and do apply an exclusion, Fastway will offer cover with an exclusion review period – automatically.
- The exclusion will be applied for a limited time. We’ll remove it at your request if your client suffers no further symptoms.
- We think this is fairer than offering cover with a full term exclusion.
- It won’t be available to all clients – it depends on their personal circumstances.
